Ans. The king decided to distribute seeds  to all the children in the country. The child who grows the  best plant would become the prince or the princess.

Ans. Everyone was eager to get a seed and grow the best plant.

3.Who was Pingala?

Ans. Pingala was a poor farmer's son.

4.Where did Pingala sow his seed?

Ans. He sowed it in a pot in his garden.

5.Did Pingala take care  of his seed?

Ans. Yes, Pingala took great  care of the seed.

The disappointment:-

1.What did Pingala do to sprout his seed?

Ans. He watered and manured it. He changed the soil and transferred it to another pot.

2.Did Pingala's seed sprout?

Ans. No, his seed did not sprout.

3.'Pingala watched them sadly '. To whom did he watch?

Ans. He watched the children who were walking to the palace with their well grown plants.

Ans. Yes, he felt sorry for Pingala.

Ans. His father.

Ans. Empty pot.
